Here’s a first mix of a collaboration I had the opportunity to be part of.

Me on 5 string Watson SC 5 string bass, modified by UNICORNbass. Recorded with the B7K from Darkglass Electronics, Wonderlove from 3leaf Audio and the FloorQ by JoeMeek.
A short walk through of the gear used to record “Winter Sun”.
A track with three layers of bass parts. All played on the Watson/UNICORNbass 5 string and recorded through the JoeMeek FloorQ compressor. The bass part also uses the marvelous B7K from Darkglass Electronics.
Inspired by a nice walk in the winter sun, on royal grounds.

First time doing some actual recordings with the new Wonderlove pedal.
I got this in an email from Spencer Doren, the man behind 3leafaudio:
“Wonderlove update – the company that makes my enclosures fell far behind their promised ship date, and I’m running a bit behind schedule. The good news is that the Wonderlove enclosures are being etched right now, so I’m roughly a week away from having them ready to ship. Sorry, and thanks for your patience!”
These small boutique firms always amazes me when it comes to customer care and support. You get info even before you noticed there was a problem. And if you have a question you get a quick response and probably end up as friends on Facebook.
